This session was very special to me, it was for my niece and nephew. I photographed my niece in October a week after she was born and we captured some amazing newborn images, now she is 9 months and I wanted to capture this special time. This stage is one of my favorites to photograph. Babies between 6-12 months who sit independently and don’t walk yet are great to photograph (as we know once they walk there is no stopping them lol). The chunky baby rolls, feet, cheeks, clapping, foot in mouth, smiles, giggles, and funny faces are just so adorable.
I started the session with a simple clean and organic background to showcase those features and expressions we want to remember. Then we took some photos of my nephew with some cute vintage suspenders and cap and moved on to doing some cute sibling photos. When photographing small children there must be patience and love.
We then started setting up for the rose vintage scene, simplicity is always something I strive for, my main goal is to feature the subject and have them be the main focus, everything else is garnishes. My favorite images are the ones of her beautiful big eyes and lashes, she is such a beauty.
I’m not going to say it all went perfect, she cried a few times, but my job is to make my client comfortable and relaxed no matter what their age is. I use different techniques to make them smile and capture those little details we want to remember.
Being summer I also wanted to create a scene that was happy and bright, I used yellow and call it sunshine. I love how the flowers and layers compliment the little outfit.
Lastly we did a flower milk bath in a vintage tin bucket I have. Using some milk and lukewarm water she was happy to bathe and had a splashing time. Let’s just say the studio was a little bit of a mess afterwards, but it was well worth it!
I absolutely love how these came out! Don’t miss the chance to capture these special moments with me. All the little outfits and props are property of Cindy Farache Photography and available to my clients for their sessions.
This little beauty came to me at 15 days old, her mom called me a little bit of last minute to schedule a session with me. I luckily had a spot for them and we were able to capture these beautiful images of her.
Nothing makes me happier during these sessions than sleeping babies and smiles, and she gave me several smiley faces with dimple and all, isn’t she gorgeous?
Congrats to this family on their new little bundle of joy!
In April I surprised my daughter with a girls trip to Paris, she had been dreaming of going there for several years and we did it with 3 of her best friends and their moms.
In my head I imagined photographing them in front of the Eiffel Tower, in the streets, and gardens of this beautiful city. We arrived in full spring and flowers were blooming everywhere, what a dream for any photographer. I arranged to have two outfits for the girls to wear. The one with The Tour de Eiffel I wanted a more editorial look, so we made “Bonjour” shirts for the girls, and bought black French berets for them. Once we arrived at the location we were surrounded by a sea of people….I looked around and found a spot by a rooftop that worked perfectly, achieving the look I wanted for this image. This photograph was later selected as one of the top ten images for children’s photography by “Inspire Digital or Not Fine Art Magazine”.
On Sunday, the third day, we decided to head out of the city and take a train to the outskirts of Paris, to a little town called Giverny, best know to be the home of Monet. As we walked down the streets there was beauty everywhere, houses paved with old stones, wooden doorways, flowers coloring the sidewalks and streets, it was like being in a dream. We then entered Monet’s house, walking out into his gardens you can see the inspiration and beauty that surrounded him, beautiful tulips of all pastels, reflections of the colors of the sky and scenery on the lake while water lilies float in it, and the wooden bridges that connect the grounds is breathtaking. You can definitely see his paintings right in front of you. We went mid day and the lighting was brutal, the grounds were filled with tourists and it was nearly impossible to photograph the girls in their beautiful princess dresses we had taken with us all the way from home. As we walked around to find a spot people were taking photos of them and telling them how beautiful they looked. I was running out of options for a shaded spot and little people in the background as we walked around, but as we turned back to the exit I found it! The girls held each other while tulips surrounded them, it was a dream come true!
Walking around the streets I found a Children’s Atelier shop, there was a beautiful gold dress on the showcase that drew me in. Once I came inside and saw it I fell in love and had to buy it, when would I have the opportunity to buy a handmade French couture dress for my daughter and the studio? My daughter was a little resilient to wear it but I finally convinced her as we arrived at the top of the beautiful Montmartre hill and the Basilique du Sacre Coeur, her friends all had a chance to model the dress as well, and as I took photos of them and spectators would stop to also take pictures of them.
During our visit we also dined at the famous Laduree Café, as I walked around I found that the light seeping through the heavy velvet curtains would make a beautiful image, so I asked my daughter to look out the window while I snapped the image.
Our mother daughter trip will always be cherished and forever remembered in our hearts, and we are so fortunate to have these images captured for the memories we created.
When booking a maternity session you should also consider booking a newborn photography session. When a baby comes into this world professional photography is an ideal way to capture this life changing moment. Newborns change quickly and they grow really fast, before you know it they are flipping, sitting, standing, crawling and walking.
In this maternity session we decided to use one of my favorite locations in Broward County, the forest feel of this park gives a completely different look than the usual South Florida palm trees. I love how the sun shining through the leafless branches create a warm fall feel.
For the newborn session this little princess slept and behaved so good. The parents followed the prep instructions I provided and the session was a success. It is important to read through them and follow them to get great results. These parents now have beautiful images that will be forever cherished.
Don’t miss the chance to capture your growing belly as well as your little miracle with Cindy Farache, award winning photographer. We are located in Doral, Florida and serve all of Miami Dade and Broward.

I was so happy to welcome this sweet little princess and her family into my studio last month. A little over a year ago I met this beautiful couple as they brought in their first baby for his newborn session. He is now 16 months and with a brand new baby sister…if any parents can handle having a baby and a newborn it’s them for sure. They are really caring and patient…pretty amazing, and can you say good looking too? No wonder they make such beautiful babies 🙂
During this session we incorporated some personal items, amongst them mom’s bridal flower bouquet and some belly dancing costumes and props. Mom is a well known professional Middle Eastern dancer and having her hip scarf and costumes were a must for her princess’ session. We incorporated these items in an elegant and unique way, not making it too “themey” but instead giving the artistic approach of subtleness. Before a newborn session I receive a pre-session questionnaire filled out by parents with details about baby and the color schemes and ideas they would like delivered. Then mom is also prepared by reading a session prep-sheet to make sure everything goes smoothly in the session.
When parents arrive they enjoy a relaxing time in a sitting area were they can doze off or get caught up on work or social media. Just relax and my assistant and I will take care of the rest.
It’s so very special to be picked to photograph a newborn, parents will let me hold their most precious gift for a few hours to capture life’s first moments in images that are artistic and tender. Newborns need to be handled with the outmost care and training, they are delicate and require many needs. To achieve a successful newborn session you must be a trained professional as myself along with my assistant, who both have extensive education and practice in the specialty of newborns. Not only does this make the client feel comfortable but the photographer produces images that will be cherished forever.
Thank you again for the honor of photographing your second baby, wishing you a world of happiness and joy!

I had a blast photographing this cute family of 6 (furry friends included). Daughter and son wanted to gift the parents a photography session and I think it was so sweet of them to give them something that will give them memories that they will cherish forever.
Even when kids grow, family sessions are as important. You want to capture special moments with your family throughout the different stages of life. This family has a very special bond with their two dogs, and they did not hesitate to include them in their family session. The dogs were so well behaved, they posed and even looked at the camera! Such a fun shoot 🙂
