Yes, once you book a date and sign contract, you must place a $250 deposit to reserve your session date. This deposit will be credited towards your order. You are required to pay full balance the day of the session or before. Cash, Check or Credit Card are accepted. Packages and Prices do not include taxes, you must pay 7% Florida Sales Tax when you pay your session.

What is your cancelation policy

If you cancel/change your appointment within 48 hours of your session date, you can receive a credit towards another session. If you do not inform me prior to the 48 hours, your deposit will not be refunded. When you book a session the photographer reserves that date and time for you, and turns down potential clients that want to reserve the photographer for their session.

What happens after my session?

The photographer will post your session images on a private and password protected gallery and send you an email with the link. Your images will be available to view for 2 weeks, please place your order within 15 days of your session as your print credit will expire after this period. Once the photographer receives your order, she will place it on the order log and will work on it on a first come first serve basis. If can take between 2 weeks and 2 months to receive your images depending on the workload she has.

Your collection of choice will include a certain number of images, these are the amount of photos you will receive in digital form. You should pick your favorite images and use the print credit mentioned below.

The images provided to you can be printed up to a size 8×10” and you are free to share them in social media (please make sure you credit the photographer). The digital images you receive do not include all the other pictures we take during the session; you can purchase the USB  additionally at an extra cost listed in the pricing sheet under “Add Ons”.

Print Credit: The print credit in the collection you choose expires in 15 days and is available to use towards your choice of professional prints. The prints MUST be the same images you select on your digital selection. Please refer to the “A la Carte” section in the pricing sheet were you can see how much each print costs, the choice is yours! If your prints are higher than the credit you have, you can arrange to pay the balance.

Please use the Print Crop Comparison Chart to see how different print sizes will crop out the edges on the pictures.

Retouching: The images you select from the collection you choose will be carefully retouched and enhanced. Please feel free to discuss any concerned areas you would like retouched and send your requests in writing. Additional charges may apply if you would like more advanced retouching.

NEWBORN SESSION INFORMATION

When should I book my session?

My calendar gets booked weeks/months in advance. Please contact me with plenty of time to book your session. If you are pregnant please contact me as soon as you decide you want to take your pictures with me.

Where will the session take place?

The session takes place at my studio in Doral, Florida FL.  I have a wide arrange of props and all the implements we need to make baby and parents comfortable. My studio is located on a second floor, you will be able to bring baby up in car seat but not in stroller.

Can parents and siblings get photos with newborns?

The Baby Kisses Collection does not include parent/sibling shots, all others do. For siblings we do those at the beginning of the session and I ask that dad or another family member to take the sibling afterwards as session can be very lengthy.

What should we wear for parent/sibling shots?

You can wear black or wear white/beige for images with your baby. Casual is perfect (tank top or tube top for mom and vneck t-shirt for dad are great with solid color, no logos or patterns). Jeans and no shirt are great for dads too. Siblings should also wear a neutral color with not logos or patterns.

Do I need to bring anything to the session?

I have a large variety of props, outfits and accessories. If you are looking for something in particular please be sure to discuss it with me prior.
You will need to bring to the session:

Lots of wipes, diapers, blankets, pacifiers, milk, and a change of clothes for you in case of any potty accidents.
If your baby drinks formula please bring several bottles, or if you only give breast milk you can also bring already pumped milk, this will help baby get full and sleep better during session.

Do I need to do anything to prepare for the session?

Please keep baby awake all morning before arriving and while in car ride. I know that it sounds hard but it’s very important because although baby is always sleeping at home, they tend to be more active and awake when you take them out. Newborn shots are done with baby completely asleep and keeping them awake before session is essential for a successful shoot. Parents that don’t take this into consideration have a very hard session and the results are not favorable.

Dress baby with a front opening onesie instead of one that goes over the head.
Please refrain from drinking coffee and eating spicy food for 24 hrs if you are breastfeeding. These will make baby struggle to sleep during the session.

Professional hair and makeup is highly recommended, makeup and hair should have a natural look. Allow plenty of time before the session to get ready, please arrive to your session with your makeup/hair. If you need a makeup/hair stylist I can refer one to you upon request. Manicure and pedicure are also recommended.

How long does the session last?

You can expect to spend 3-4 hours in my studio for the newborn session. These sessions can take long as baby wakes up, feeds, has diaper changes and needs cuddles. The photographer’s time is valuable. Please be punctual. If you are late, that time will be discounted from your session time.

BABY, TODDLER AND CHILDREN SESSIONS

Do I need to do anything to prepare for the session?

Please make sure small children take a nap before the session and are well rested. You can expect breaks during baby and toddler sessions, this is part of the job and there is no charge for extra time. Toddlers might need a break and distraction from temper tantrums.
